How to clean the zinc coating on the metal surface?

Galvanizing refers to the surface treatment technology of plating a layer of zinc on the surface of metal, alloy or other materials to play a beautiful and rust-proof role.

The most common method to remove zinc coating is to use hydrochloric acid pickling to remove zinc, which dissolves rapidly in hydrochloric acid. In order to save costs, in electroplating plants, iron and steel are used for rust removal and the remaining waste acid is used for zinc removal. It usually takes only tens of seconds to remove the zinc plating layer with hydrochloric acid, except for hot-dip galvanizing or zinc spraying. Because the two zinc layers are thicker, the time for zinc removal is slightly longer.

Due to the influence of the current environment, it is no longer suitable to use this province for cleaning. At present, the more suitable cleaning method is water-based stripping solution, which can easily remove the zinc coating on the metal surface, and soak it at 80 ℃ for about 15 minutes, without harming the metal, and truly achieve environmental protection and pollution-free green cleaning.
